Ensure that all information conveyed with color is also available without color, for example from context or markup.

Don't Do

Place the requested information in the following form. Items in red are required.

The correct way

It is impossible or difficult for persons who are blind, have limited sight or are color-blind to discern information solely conveyed by color. By using an identifying character, such as an asterisk, a visually impaired person will be much more likely to discern the information.
